Dan
Bennett brings
a myriad of life experiences to his real estate
career. Like so many of us already here, and
those coming to the western North Carolina,
Dan came for the great mountain quality of life.
He earned his degree in Geography from the University
of Cincinnati and proceeded to enjoy a career
that matched his passion for the great outdoors!
Before coming to Asheville, Dan's work has taken
him to such a variety of places, including,
the Florida Keys, the Mississippi delta, NE
Ohio, SW Pennsylvania, the Alaska coast, piedmont
Virginia, Seattle, and Raleigh, NC. Out there,
he's worked as a Naturalist, Exhibit Planner,
bicycle touring company Director, Assistant
Resource Manager, EMT, River Guide, Wildlife
Technician, helped run a Youth Hostel, and managed
retail shops, among other things.
Dan's business experience in
Asheville includes energetically heading up
the sales, service, marketing and operations
of a local company. His rock solid professional
skills, his attention to detail, and love of
Asheville have made for a successful transition
to a real estate career. Folks working with
Dan can do so with extra confidence knowing
he's always keeping at the front of the pack
with continuing education. In particular, he's
well on his way towards completing his Real
Estate Appraisal program.
Still an outdoor enthusiast,
he is a skilled cyclist, hiker, bird-watcher,
and paddler. At home, he and his wife (a biologist
with the U.S. Forest Service) enjoy creative
cooking, home-brewing, reading, and organic
gardening.
A well-traveled man, Dan appreciates
the perspective his background has given him.
Dan would be the first to tell you there is
truly nowhere else he would rather be than Asheville
and it gives him extreme pleasure helping others
"find their way home."
