DIANE DEMETRIS-DUERMIT Diane Demetris-Duermit is one of the lucky few claiming "Asheville native" status. Upon returning from her travels, she feels nothing can compare to seeing the majestic mountain ridges welcoming her home. During Diane's twenty-year tenure with Progress Energy (formerly CP&L) she worked her way up the engineering ranks becoming a supervisor in the contract and contractors section. She wimmersed in new development and building construction daily. After leaving Progress Energy she formed her own Construction and Development Company, completing remodels, developed a subdivision and constructed modular homes. New construction is definitely a family trait since her husband and brother are both successful builders. She began her real estate career with far more knowledge than the average rookie! Diane's former construction and engineering experience gave her an immediate competitive edge in assisting buyers and sellers by as providing important knowledge to help them make sound decisions.
