AMY FLEMING
“ Experience World-Wide Style with a Southern Flair”
Amy Fleming knows a thing or two about “excellence;” It has been a pattern throughout her life.
She is an Asheville native who loves that her real estate career enables her to share the history of her hometown along with it's vitality and growth over the last 15 years. Amy attended Carolina Day School and then graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While in college, she was an accomplished swimmer and she competed in the Olympic Trials in 1980 and 1984. She earned All-American honors from 1981-1985; was a world-record holder on a relay team and was voted one of the “Top 50” swimmers in the 50 year history of the ACC. The discipline and commitment required for these achievements laid the ground work for excellence in her adult life, and these are characteristics she brings to the real estate profession. Of course, she remains a big college basketball fan as well. She was at UNC Chapel Hill during the years that Micheal Jordan was playing and when UNC won the NCAA Basketball Championship.
"Since joining Beverly-Hanks in October of 2005, Amy has sold over 10 million dollars in residential real estate. She has received two awards for her sales volume...one being "The Rising Star" award for the year 2006 and the other commending her "Most Improved" status for the South Office in 2007. Before her real estate career, Amy spent 20 years in the airline industry with 17 of those years in a leadership position. During that time she enjoyed extensive domestic and international flying. She has visited New Zealand, Thailand , Turkey, Costa Rica and much of Europe. Amy’s travels have enabled her to experience the world’s different cultures and it’s wonderful diversity. Be sure to ask her about the ethnic restaurants in town.
Amy’s personality reflects a nice blend of appreciating “all things outdoors” in these Western North Carolina mountains combined with her love of the revitalization and rhythm of downtown Asheville. Her love of gardening led her to become a member of the French Broad River Garden Club and she is also an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the YMCA. She enjoys life with her husband, John, who is a local attorney, and their two sons in south Asheville.
When you buy or sell a home, Amy’s knowledge of Western North Carolina, the school systems, and the available family activities is valuable indeed. Additionally, her customer service skills and quiet, caring demeanor build long lasting, genuine, trusting relationships.
It is said that a customer’s opinion is formed in the first five minutes after you meet.
You’ll be glad immediately that you met Amy Fleming.
Let her excel on your behalf.
