Alicia is from Southport a smaIl town on the southeastern coast of North Carolina where she spent much of her childhood fishing on the local docks and piers. At 16, she moved to Raleigh, NC where she attended Saint Mary's High School. After graduating from Saint Mary's, Alicia moved to Chapel Hill, NC where she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Physical Education, Exercise and Sport Science. It wasn't until after her collegiate years that Alicia finally relocated to the beautiful mountains of North Carolina and she has lived in Asheville ever since.
Alicia is extremely passionate about her animals and currently has a longhaired dachshund, three cats and an African Grey Amazon parrot. In the past, she also had horses and loves horseback riding.
Alicia enjoys spending time at her mother's lake house at Lake Keowee in South Carolina. Her mother, Angie Boone, is also a Broker Associate for the South Office of Beverly-Hanks & Associates and the two of them work together as a team. Other interests of Alicia's include sports, photography, dancing and the field of psychology. In fact, Alicia plans to attain both her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, because of her desire to understand and help others which she believes to be particularly important in real estate.
