• Raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina and moved to Columbia, South Carolina to attend the University of South Carolina.  After graduating, I spent 17 years in the office equipment industry and the last 21 years in commercial real estate.  During this time we visited the Tuxedo area of North Carolina regularly from spring to early winter.
• Married for 38 years to Gwen who is retired from South Carolina Department of Social Services and is now a residential broker with Beverly-Hanks & Associates in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
