BRENDA GRAY
“She’ll Show You the Way!
There is nothing Brenda likes more than showing people the way to their new home. She grew up in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina in Cullowhee near Western Carolina University and she loves sharing the mountains with others. Brenda graduated from Western Carolina University with a BA in mathematics and then left the mountains for the hustle and bustle of city life in Richmond, VA. Her love of learning and serving others resulted in 30 years of teaching high school math in Henrico county and Stafford County, Virginia and a MA in education from Virginia Commonwealth University.
However, as they are known to do, the mountains of Western North Carolina have a majestic and magnetic force that draws people back to the country, the family and the friends here. Brenda made the decision to return to the safety, the beauty, the privacy, and the people of the mountains. Upon her return she began a rewarding project of restoring her grandparent’s 100 year old farm house. Her involvement in construction, interior decorating, landscaping and the community soon led to new interests. Hardwood floors, crown molding, insulated windows, insulation, paint, wallpaper, plants, trees all rolled into one big new interest…..real estate!
She began a new life with her real estate career and has been able to use her personal experience and first hand knowledge to pave the way for successful real estate decisions for her buying and selling real estate clients. Her desire for excellence and commitment to service has made her a perfect match for the Beverly-Hanks & Associates “Best in the Business” real estate team.
Brenda also realizes that part of any job is giving back to the community and sharing life. She blended back into her community by returning to her childhood church, participating in the American Cancer society’s Relay for Life, working with Habitat for Humanity and mentoring new teachers through Western Carolina University. She also continues to enjoy the wonders of nature in the beautiful North Carolina setting of her childhood.
Brenda Gray, will indeed, show you the way to wonderful living.
