All of Carol’s experience in her 38 year career has been in real estate and residential construction. She began her career with Higdon Agency, a small real estate firm, which was later CENTURY 21 Accent Properties, owned by Carol and her husband, Lou Higdon, a General Contractor specializing in residential building.

In 1990, Carol joined Beverly-Hanks as a Sales Associate in the South office. She moved to the Biltmore Park office when it opened in 2000.

Carol has been a consistant multi-million dollar producer and has received numerous awards, including the Diamond and Chairman Sales Awards.. She has been the Biltmore Park Sales Leader, received the Raving Fans Award, and best of all, the Contributing to Excellence Award-a coveted award by her peers.

Carol is a Certified New Home Specialist and a Luxury Home Specialist who has lived in Asheville all of her life and in Biltmore Park for the last 16 years. She and Lou have enjoyed many years of sailing and cruising. They have a large family scattered all over the country.
