Carol has indeed had an interesting life journey that gives her a greater perspective, than most of us can begin to imagine, regarding other countries and their cultures & languages.
She says she grew up as an “Air Force brat”; born in Germany, and has lived in such places as Spain, California, England, Massachusetts and Guam; to name a few. Consequently, she graduated from Lakenheath High School in England. She went on to study fashion merchandising and interior design in Florida and worked for a time in the field of cosmetology.
Carol ultimately found her lifetime passion 24 years ago when she began her career in real estate in Rutherford County. The last ten of those years have been spent specializing in the greater Lake Lure area and Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Mountains, aka Rumbling Bald Resort.
Carol’s self imposed ethical and professional standards result in her commitment to service to her clients as she guides them through, as much as possible, a low stress, positive, and enjoyable experience. She believes in adhering to the high Code of Ethics of the National Association of Realtors and has served as President of the Rutherford County Board of Realtors. Her desire is to be of service to you in meeting all of your real estate needs.
Residing and working in greater Rutherford County since 1971, Carol can personally attest to what a wonderful place this is to call home. Lake Lure particularly, is much more than a special little town. It is the “Hidden Gem” of Western North Carolina. It offers a uniqueness that is unrivaled in it’s beauty and tranquility. This is the passion she loves to share with the many new people she meets and helps in realizing their dreams to relocate here and with local buyers and sellers as well. As she likes to say, “Come with a dream, stay and live it!”
When not helping your family, Carol enjoys spending time with her own. She has a son who is a wedding and special events DJ and a daughter who is a teacher and she revels in her two beautiful, precious grandsons. When they get together, the whole family loves boating on Lake Lure, taking in the breathtaking views and just unwinding.
Another of Carol’s passions is reading; especially books by Pat Conroy, who also has an affinity for the Lake Lure area. She and her husband also enjoy their church activities and their involvement with the Children and Hospitality Ministries. They especially love the times they share outdoors; be it maintaining their property, tending the garden, or just relaxing with their three dogs.
