Asheville has been Clary’s home for over 24 years. After graduating from high school at Christ Church Episcopal School, she played tennis for UNCA, where she received a BA in Literature, and continued on to Furman University for graduate studies in Exercise Physiology. Clary's love of the outdoors and these beautiful mountains have kept her in Asheville all these years and there is nowhere else she would rather live and raise her family. You might just see Clary out on the trails with her dogs or training for her much-anticipated annual Colorado ski trips.
Clary began her professional career as a District Manager with Automatic Data Processing. This valuable experience has served her well in other business endeavors. Clary's past experince also includes being an owner and COO of a fiber optic construction company, MC Communications, Inc. Throughout a successful personal real estate career over the past 15 years, Clary has developed and invested in properties of all types ranging from land acquisition and improvement, rental properties, residential and resort to commercial properties. She has personally built several homes in the area, one of which was a Biltmore Forest home featured on the cover of the 2006 Holiday edition of Carolina Home and Garden.
Her experience working with architects, builders, contractors and local artisans has helped Clary develop a thorough working knowledge of finishes, flow and floor plans that is invaluable to her clients when they are searching for their next home. She also has an understanding and appreciation for the challenges and benefits of building a home. All of this has been of the utmost importance to Clary's success when listing and selling homes for her clients. Just as each client is different, each home, too, is different and a full range of experience helps her to see the special features of each home she lists and best highlight those for the most effective marketing.
