CRAIG MULLIKIN

Craig personally thinks one of the best ways to get to know a person is to identify their passions. His personal passions are entertaining good friends; listening to good music, especially jazz and bluegrass; savoring good food, especially barbeque, golf when he can find a free afternoon, enjoying the family’s animals, especially their birds, cats, and Mastiffs; watching the sunset behind the Blue ridge Mountains from the deck on an island in one of the world’s most beautiful in-land lakes; Lake Lure, North Carolina.

He was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. When he was 19 years old he moved to the Florida Keys where he met his wife Pauline. They moved to Bradford, Pennsylvania in the early 80’s and ran a successful restaurant and bar. During this time that they became foster parents and over the next 11 years 22 foster children stayed in their home. He says he and Pauline believe that with blessings comes responsibility to give back, and these children gave them plenty of blessings.

They moved to North Carolina in the mid 90’s and settled in Lake Lure. They began investing in rental properties in the area with Pauline acting as manager and Craig using his skills in providing the maintenance. They started a new restaurant business and over the next five years built it into one of the most popular restaurants in the area which they eventually sold. His next project was building his own home, constructing their new home on the top of an island overlooking the lake with an incredible view of the Hickory Nut Gorge.

All this experience led up to his real estate career. His many years of customer service, his construction know- how and his knowledge of the area help each person he works with to realize their dreams.

Whether it’s land to build on or finding that perfect home to move into ….you have his word…he won’t stop until he gets it right!
