Curt is originally from New York City where he attended college at C.U.N.Y. and Christ for the Nations Institute. His love for the mountains of Western North Carolina began as a teenager living in upstate New York. His parents owned a small summer cottage there and the family was able to escape from the city every summer.  It was in this small community that Curt first experienced all the great things that country living offers as he learned and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. Those heartfelt memories eventually led to the to the mountains of Western North Carolina where Curt and his wife vacationed for 20 years. Eventually they were able to realize their dream when they moved here permanently and he and his family truly appreciate life at Lake Junaluska. Curt and his wife Edna, have two grown children; one attending Florida State University and the other attending UNC-Greensboro.

Before he made his way “home” to Western North Carolina, he spent 23 years of his life helping other less fortunate people to build their own heartfelt memories. He was employed during that time at Faith Farm Ministries in southern Florida, a well respected faith-based non-profit establishment founded in the 1950’s.  Curt has lived a life that has been tremendously rewarding by serving the critical needs of hurting people. He has been an integral part of helping down trodden and dysfunctional human beings develop into positive and productive citizens of their communities. In his last years there he served as Executive Director of Operations.

Curt has the same goals for his real estate clients.  To help them achieve their potential in reaching their real estate goals and needs. Home and hearth are a basic human need regardless of social status or income.  This warm and modest man will serve you well with his dedication, commitment, positive attitude and strong team work and organizational skills.
