David Craven is a highly experienced real estate professional who started in real estate investing in 1985. Originally this included buying, improving, managing, and selling a variety of properties including residential, commercial, houses, apartment buildings, vacant land, and office buildings. He was also owner, designer and builder of a beautiful Appalachian style log home in Waynesville, N.C. where he and his wife reside. Their family has been involved with several new home developments in Haywood County.

 

In 1998 his career extended to full time real estate sales. David’s broad experience and uncompromised pursuit of excellence in serving people with their real estate needs have allowed him a very successful and rewarding career. He is a log home enthusiast and loves sharing his knowledge of log home design with others. In 2007 Centennial Properties of North Carolina chose him as the consultant to design and oversee the construction of their model center by the HGTV Dream home in Lake Lure.

 

A native of Kentucky, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. In addition to his 22 years as a successful real estate investor, at the same time David enjoyed a twenty four year career in business management in the retail food industry.

 

Before David and his family relocated to North Carolina, he also spent eleven years as a Realtor in Ohio and Florida. His real estate clients appreciate their special relationship with him as a personal advisor who will protect them and educate them in all aspects of the real estate process. He is on top of each clients personal situation and he provides consistent communication with his clients; both the good news and the bad news.

 

David and his family have supported children from other countries for many years and he has been actively involved with various ministries over the years. Wherever he goes; he gives. Currently he gives back to his local community by sawing, splitting and delivering wood for the elderly so they will keep warm in the winter, works with C.A.R.E. and is an adult Sunday school teacher.

 

David and his wife Michele have a daughter who is a college senior. They appreciate the blessings of their life in the setting of the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. David loves working with buyers and sellers in this little corner of the world and loves the opportunity to share his excellence and knowledge with you.
