I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and completed high school at Sewanee Military Academy in Sewanee, Tennessee. I attended The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, and also The University of the South, in Sewanee, Tennessee. I was drafted by the U.S. Army and spent 20 months in Germany.

 

Following my time in the service, I completed my college education and married my college sweetheart, Gail. My first job was with the International Paper Company. There were moves to several states and two provinces of Canada along the way, finally settling in Tampa, Florida. 

 

Gail and I have three daughters, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all living in the Marietta, Georgia, area.

 

While living in the Tampa, Florida, area, we always looked forward to visiting Waynesville, where my parents lived. Eleven years ago we decided to leave the heat of Tampa and move to Waynesville. I became a real estate broker. 

 

I get a great deal of pleasure from meeting the needs of both buyers and sellers. My clients’ needs and problems become my needs and problems and so, I work diligently to solve them.
