As a former real estate appraiser, I have unique experience and knowledge of residential real estate. After successfully running my own appraisal firm I decided to put my knowledge and skills to use for the benefit of home buyers and sellers. I am professional, friendly and detail oriented. In real estate since 1992, I am passionate about helping people have a great real estate experience.
For homeowners looking to sell their home, I provide a detailed market analysis and suggestions on how to prepare a home for buyers. In today’s market, having your home ready for buyers and pricing it right is the key to realizing the best possible price in the shortest amount of time. A customized marketing plan for each listing ensures that every home is highlighted to show its best features.
My background includes attending Phillips Academy Andover in Massachusetts and then the University of Minnesota where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business. Before my appraisal and real estate careers I excelled as an accountant and computer specialist.
When I am not working or volunteering in the community I can be found hiking a mountain trail, photographing nature, enjoying a round of golf or just cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway. My husband and I are adoring pet owners and also enjoy working together on landscape gardening and home improvements.
