As an Asheville native growing up on Long Shoals I spent many happy hours riding my horse down Long Shoals Road and cutting into the Biltmore Park Estate land. Riding freely across acres of untouched beautiful forest was not a bad way to spend my childhood! That was THEN! This is NOW! Time changes everything! That acreage is now one of Asheville’s most prestigious developments called Biltmore Park , which is a combination of residential homes, garden homes and a Business and Office park which is home to WLOS, our local TV station. I have seen lots of changes in our area the last several years and love the opportunity to share with new people coming here.

Another wonderful part of growing up in Asheville was growing up in my family’s business; "Little Pigs Barbecue" which has been in business for 40 years and is still thriving today. I graduated from T.C. Roberson High School in south Asheville and then graduated from Salem College in Winston Salem, NC with a B.A. in Economics Management and a teaching certificate.

Since I am a "local" and I also have three sons in school I have been very actively involved in both the private schools and public schools in this area. I also have immense knowledge of the history of the Asheville area and numerous other activities that you may have an interest in which helps you make a smooth transition to enjoying the things you like to do.

What my family most enjoys about living here are the temperate four seasons, the availability of numerous outdoor activities, and the diversity.
