After graduating from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina, Jack joined the US Army and was a First Lieutenant upon his honorable discharge. He then spent 25 years in health care administration prior to his career in real estate.
Jack's involvement in the real estate profession began in 1986. He is a member of the Asheville Board of Realtors, the North Carolina Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He holds the GRI designation which stands for Graduate of Realtors Institute.
His long-time involvement in community affairs has included serving as President of the Black Mountain Rotary Club, and President of the Black Mountain Chamber of Commerce. Jack is also the Chairman of the Administrative Council at the church he and his family attend.
Jack and his wife, Anne, have been residents of Black Mountain since 1976 and have been married since 1967. They have two daughters and two grandsons.
