With nineteen years of experience in the Real Estate industry, a broker's license, and an incredible attitude, this guy is the one you will want to call. He has the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation and the Certified New Home Sales designation from the National Association of Realtors, and the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) designation from the National Association of Home Builders. Jim is also a candidate for the CCIM designation for commercial real estate.

And, if you would like to also join him and go see an Asheville Aces hockey game or an Asheville Tourist Baseball Game, well that's possible too! A sports nut, who loves to coach youth soccer, youth ice & inline hockey, and plays adult recreational ice hockey, loves to fly fish and climb up steep hills (why else move here?). He is a Certified USA Level 4 Advanced Ice Hockey Coach, as well as a USA Certifiied Inline Coach. One of his current projects is to help build a recreation Ice Rink in Asheville (www.ashevillearena.com). He also is the Youth Commissioner for The AIHL Ice Program in Asheville, and is an Assistant Coach for the Greenville Junior Growl Youth Bantam Ice Travel Team. Jim also coaches his son's when they play in the Asheville Inline Hockey League recreation and travel program.

His name is Jim Gelleny.

Jim was born, raised and educated in Canada. He then moved to Florida and from there to the beautiful and pleasant mountains of North Carolina. He is married, has four children two boys and two girls (ages three, five, fourteen and seventeen) and a wife who was
born in Scotland and who thinks he is a nut (but a loveable one). Jim and his family love the awesome beauty and friendliness of Western North Carolina and have made a commitment to make their long-term future here in Asheville.

Like he tells it to the youngsters he coaches, life must be positive, positive and positive. It must also come with a whole lot of love and humor. Life is a network -with different interesting connections to a variety of unique individuals and families.

Remember, it is not just the next transaction that Coach Jim will be involved helping you with.
