Born in Raleigh,North Carolina,Jim was a member of two North Carolina High School State
Championship Golf teams.After attending East Carolina University and North Carolina State
University from 1975-1980 Jim joined the P.G.A. and moved to Miami,Florida working as an
assistant golf professional at Kings Bay Yacht and Country Club(now Deering Bay).In 1986
Jim became the General Manager of Kings Bay.He has also served as General Manager of
Mayacoo Lakes Country Club(West Palm Beach,Florida) and Champion Hills
Club(Hendersonville,North Carolina).

Married to Nancy(also with Beverly-Hanks) Jim is  acquainted with golf course communities
in the area but is also well integrated in the community having two wonderful boys
attending public school in Henderson County.

With any spare time available you will find Jim on the baseball field coaching his boys
who are avid players.
