Marie Morris is a native of McDowell County and returned to Western North Carolina 2003 after 16 years in San Francisco.  “I didn’t think I could ‘come home’ again, but I am so happy to be back in these mountains and my California husband says he is here to stay!” 

Marie attended Appalachian State University and then graduated from Peace College in Raleigh with an Associate Degree in Business.  She later studied Art at Georgia State University.

After returning to North Carolina, she earned her real estate license and has since gone on to get her Accredited Buyer Representative and her Accredited Luxury Home Specialist designations.  Marie also brings to the table over 25 years of legal experience, making her a seasoned multi-tasker with a high level of attention to detail.

She and her husband are both artists –Marie has dabbled in a variety of creative arenas, but currently enjoys working with clay and has her own pottery wheel and kiln.  She is also a gardener, an occasional (really bad!) golfer and is in love with her two “children,” Jones and Junior (their cats)!

Having renovated both a Victorian flat in San Francisco and a 1920s house here in Asheville, Marie also brings “vision” to this business for those who cannot afford to purchase their perfect home.  Marie is excited about helping others find their dream in Western North Carolina as she and her husband have done.
