Nancy first earned her real estate license in 1985. She later took off a few years to earn her BA in History, and even managed to take a summer program in Oxford England. She then went back to her love of Real Estate and joined Beverly-Hanks in 1998 as a full time professional. Referrals from satisfied clients are a large part of Nancy's business; this keeps her focused on current market conditions and trends.
Nancy's interest in education extends to continually taking classes to improve her ability to provide the best knowledge and service to her clients. Her clients value her professionalism and her ability to find humor in the buying and selling experience. Nancy figures, if you can't laugh at some of the situations you find yourself; it's going to be a very long process. Irwin and Maxine felt that way when they wrote, "What a pleasure it was to have Nancy as our Realtor. She is extremely competent and sensitive to the needs of her clients. In addition she is fun, pleasant and goes the extra mile to make the shopping experience easier."
Selling a house can be especially stressful. Nancy eases the stress by helping her sellers with tips on effective ways to stage a house to attract the potential buyer. She explains the home selling steps of right pricing and target marketing, and assures her sellers that she will keep them updated and informed through all phases of the sale. Tom and Norma made their move before their house sold; they felt confident that their house was in good hands, later stating, "We're grateful for all you did to sell our house, especially with the complication of our being across the country."
Asheville is a great place to live; Nancy raised her four children in the area. They say some of their favorite memories are of camping, skiing, and hiking in the local mountains. Nancy believes in giving back to her community. She does so through her volunteer activities with Hospice, Habitat for Humanity and United Way. This experience reinforces her feeling that it's the people who make Asheville wonderful.
For those coming to the area, welcome, and for those leavmg; we look forward to your return.
