I am multilingual in Spanish and Portuguese. I have traveled extensively to several Central and South American Countries, lived in Puerto Rico for 4 years and in Brazil for 10 years. My great grandfather moved to Asheville, NC, from Jackson, Mississippi, during the Great Depression. Once here, he proceeded to build several houses/buildings to secure his grounding in Asheville. One of his tenants was none other than F. Scott Fitzgerald, who vacationed in Asheville during the summer months. My father was born in Asheville, NC, and graduated from high school here before leaving to study law. I have lived in this area for approximately 25 years and have found Asheville to be a most desirable place to live.
Prior to real estate, I had a career in Social Services. I placed many children in
adoptive homes throughout the country during my social work career. I was the first social worker in Buncombe County DSS and Henderson County DSS to assist in the development of a Child Specific Recruitment Program, which focused primarily on the recruitment of adoptive parents and permanency of children in foster care. I remain passionate about adoption and believe that every child has the right to a permanent home. In May of 2003, I adopted a beautiful little boy from Guatemala, named Santiago (Spanish for Saint James).
As a Real Estate Broker, I hold two accredited certifications: Certified New Home Sales
Professional and ECO Consultant. I specialize in New Home Communities and in New Home Construction. I carry my passion with me in this new career and cherish the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life. I know how exciting and how stressful it can be to begin a new life somewhere else, or to sell your old house so you can move into a better one. I am here to walk you through this process and to guide you, so that you are well informed and confident in your decisions.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to find your perfect place.
