Jay and Ruth Maconi are a second generation real estate family who have been involved in every aspect of real estate including general sales, building and developing since the 1940’s.
Jay Maconi literally has a lifetime of real estate experience. He received a golf scholarship to Western Carolina University where he concentrated his studies in real estate law. During that time he received his real estate license in 1974. He earned his General Contractors license in the 1980’s and his Home Inspectors license in the early 2000’s.
Ruth Maconi has been involved in sales since the 1970’s and used those strengths to begin her real estate career in the 1990’s. Since that time she has consistently been a multi-million dollar top producer with a proven track record placing her in the top 100 agents in the Asheville Board of Realtors. She earned the designation of Certified Residential Specialist, a designation held by the top 4% of the agents worldwide and the Accredited Buyer Representative designation held by only 2% of the agents in the United States. Ruth has also earned the Short Sale/Foreclosure Certification providing her with the expertise needed to assist families in avoiding foreclosure or helping buyers purchase short sale and foreclosure properties.
Jay and Ruth share a strong Christian faith. They are happily married and are grateful to be blessed with three beautiful children and six precious grandchildren. They love living in the picturesque mountains of North Carolina. In their spare time they enjoy sailing on Lake Watauga and picnic lunches along the Blue Ridge Parkway. They reside in the North Buncombe area.
