    Sandra’s life story began in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York. After attending SUNY at Albany for two years, she began to travel and lived in London and Atlanta before settling in Aspen, Colorado. While living in Aspen, besides skiing a lot, she completed a two-year program in vocational photography at Colorado Mountain College.

    Before relocating to Asheville, Sandra spent 19 years in real estate in Miami Beach specializing in condo sales. Through her memberships in the Miami Design Preservation League and the Miami Beach Development Corporation, she joined with her neighbors to transform Miami Beach into a major tourist destination and “place to be”. She believes strongly that early planning is the key to urban growth. Giving her time and energy to these endeavors shows her commitment to her community at the same time she is learning more about the inside workings of real estate development.

    Preservation of both historic buildings and the environment are extremely important to Sandra. She belongs to the Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County and also is a member of the Western North Carolina Green Building Council and the Western North Carolina Arboretum. She is on her way to receiving both a WNCGBC Green Professional Accreditation and MCAD Developer Certification. Sandra is also the VP of Membership for Blue Ridge Toastmasters, which she joined to enhance her ease with public speaking, giving presentations and telling jokes! Ask her to tell you a joke; she now has a collection of them!

    Sandra loves the variety of people and properties working in residential real estate. Being one herself, she is totally at home with the baby boomer generation and, as her former clients attest, she is extremely adept as a true “listener” who clearly understands and works towards her clients’ goals.
