Sell Your Home ~ Buy Your Home ~ Build Your Home … Come on Home !
Shelle Ball (formerly Shelley Terry) spent much of her childhood playing in the woods and walking construction sites with her father. She is now 3rd generation residential and commercial builder and developer. Before beginning her real estate career, she lived in Ohio co-directing the family owned 9 million dollar/year Award Winning Development Company.
Born and raised in Ohio, she earned a B.A. in Psychology from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Shelle interned at Cornell Medical Center in White Plains, NY, and has participated in dozens of volunteer activities including assisting the blind, underprivileged youth work, teaching special ed students, and conservation based education. Currently she focuses her volunteer efforts with Animal Rescue groups and has rescued and placed over two dozen stray animals since moving to Western North Carolina.
Shelle relocated to the Asheville area in 1997 because of the gentler climate and the friendlier, slower pace. In 1999 her love of development and real estate moved her to purchase 55 acres in Madison County. She subdivided the property, installed roads and utilities, and built her own passive solar home (converted to active solar in 2008). Sustainable building and development are very high priorities in Shelle’s life and career. She has held the Asheville Board of Realtors ECO professional designation since June 2006.
Shelle approaches life with energy, intellect, and passion. Colleagues describe her as having excellent customer relations skills, a great team approach with a cooperative spirit, and strong leadership, communication and organizational talent.
Horticulture and travel are two more passions of Shelle’s. She has visited numerous Botanical Gardens and has been overseas several times to a total of eight countries, giving her the diversity to work effectively with all kinds of people. She enjoys North Carolina living with her husband, and their menagerie of nine pets and their collection of over 300 tropical plants.
Shelle invites you to take advantage of her knowledge, her experience, and her energy in completing a successful real estate transaction when you consider buying, selling, building or developing.
