Sonny & Jennifer have many great life experiences in the mountains. They are locals who have invested a lifetime making relationships and contacts with people in Western North Carolina. They are educated through the local public school system and continued their education at Blue Ridge Community College, A/B Technical College, and Greenville Tech. Sonny's concentration of study is business administration/management and Jennifer's concentration of study is physical therapy. Sonny and Jennifer are active members at Hendersonville First Baptist Church. They received the 2007 Crime victims Coalition “Good Samaritan” Award for their volunteer service to the elderly and organizing/participating in the construction of two wheelchair ramps for a couple of families in Henderson County.  

Sonny had the privilege of working for the City of Hendersonville for 12 years at the Water Treatment Facility where he achieved State Certification as a Grade "A" Water Treatment Facility Operator. He was charged with the responsibility of all plant operations, laboratory procedures, water quality testing and bacterialogical analysis. He received numerous certifications during his tenure at the City. Sonny's work at the City of Hendersonville provided him with extensive knowledge of the Water Distribution System, City Sewer System and the operation of the City Government. This knowledge serves Sonny well in the Real Estate Business.

In 1992 Sonny pursued his career in Law Enforcement. Sonny had the honor to be a Deputy Sheriff for former Sheriff Albert Jackson, former Sheriff George H. Erwin Jr. and Sheriff Rick Davis of the Henderson County Sheriff's Department. Sonny received numerous certifications through the NC Justice Academy, local community college and is a Basic Narcotics Investigator certified by DEA. Sonny received training by the FBI as a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and served as a Negotiator for the Sheriff's Department for several years. This training has given Sonny excellent negotiating skills in Real Estate. He received training and was a member of the Sheriff's Emergency Response Team which is better recognized as "SWAT".

Sonny served his community through volunteer service as well. He was an active member in the local volunteer fire service at the age of 15. He achieved numerous certifications through his studies at local Community Colleges including, NC Certified Fire-Fighter, Hazardous Material Technician, Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Underwater Diver, and several Fire Investigation Certifications. Sonny served in many Leadership capacities and was Chief of the Fire Department for a number of years leading Career and Volunteer Firefighters. An injury and several surgeries ended Sonny's Law Enforcement and Firefighting Careers in 2001.

Sonny's Father, Harry B. Iler Jr., was a successful Real Estate Broker many years in Hendersonville. Sonny's father influenced him to pursue a career in real estate. Sonny's most rewarding experience thus-far in real estate is the privilege of working with his father prior to his death in 2007. Sonny continues his education in real estate and has recently earned certification as a Certified New Home Specialist and is Residential Construction Certified.

Jennifer has extensive education and service in Physical Therapy. Jennifer worked numerous years at Mountain Neurological in Asheville. She specialized in Aquatic Therapy. She has helped many people with rehabilitation from injuries and surgery for many years. Jennifer later worked for Pardee Home Health providing home therapy to her clients. Jennifer has a compassionate caring gift for people which has helped her gain the confidence and trust of her real estate clients as well. Jennifer earned her broker real estate license in 2006. She continues her education in Real Estate and has recently received her certification as a Certified New Home Specialist and is Residential Construction Certified. Jennifer's caring nature combined with her highly motivated personality has been a proven plus for her clients. She works at 110% providing her clients with high volume professionalism and personal service that is served up with old fashion integrity.
