The Man on the MOVE! While working in corporate America, Tom had to move his family 17 times in 25 years so he knows how stressful a move can be. Now he calls Asheville home and has put down roots in Western North Carolina.
His previous management roles challenged him to solve problems. Now experience and creativity have fine tuned his skills to create solutions outside the box for his clients. In a very challenging real estate market, Tom rolled up his sleeves to create win-win opportunities for buyers and sellers and contributed to making the new home community, The Ramble Biltmore Forest, the top selling luxury home community in Western North Carolina in 2008.
In fact, in 2008 Tom was recognized with the PLATINUM SALES AWARD for sales production of $5 - $7 million dollars and finished in the top 2% of the Asheville Board of Realtors.

Tom is passionate about the outdoors and the environment. The Ramble was the perfect fit as he has enjoyed representing the unique lifestyle of 1000 acres, miles of trails, the parks, playing fields, summer concerts, green building, and the future wellness center. His love for being one with nature carries over to his home where his favorite room is the screened in porch that has the nickname of "the Treehouse" where he not only enjoys seeing the birds, deer, turkey and the occasional bear, but also watches many sporting events on the television. .
Originally from New York, Tom has fond memories of spending his summers of youth in the Finger Lakes. He could not get the lake out of his system, and has a second home to escape to at Lake Norman where he enjoys his love for boating, skiing, and kayaking. However one of his favorite summer activities is to grab a book and enjoy the shade of a hammock.
Although Tom loves the accolades of his clients, his favorite job continues to be a Father and Husband. Tom and his wife, Vivien (also an agent with Beverly-Hanks) find home life never boring. They have 8 children ranging in age from 16 - 31, two grandchildren, 2 dogs and a 29 pound cat. The youngest daughter is a special need child who has never said a word but has spoke volumes in teaching Tom and his family about what is important in Life. Also, a cancer survivor, Tom truly believes that life is precious and should be lived to the fullest.
