Haywood County resident’s healthcare needs are addressed through an accredited 194-bed health care facility, more than 25 private medical practices with over 100 doctors and an active county health department. Haywood Regional Medical Center offers an 186,000 sq. ft. campus that includes the acute care hospital, Urgent Care Center, Home Care Center and a 54,000 sq. ft. Health & Fitness Center. It is one of Haywood County’s largest employers, providing jobs to more than 930 people.
