Policy Development
One of the key factors in reducing the stress associated with a corporate transfer is a specific and concrete policy pertaining to relocation activity. For our corporate clients, Beverly-Hanks & Associates Relocation can review current relocation policy and make suggestions for revisions, or help a client develop a relocation policy to fit their needs.
It is our position that no company is too small for a relocation policy or to avail themselves of a structured relocation program. If your company does not currently have a formal relocation policy, we work one-on-one with you to develop a policy appropriate for the volume of relocation activity seen by your company on an annual basis. This company sepecific policy would include: all facets of relocation from transportation of household goods, to the identification of the costs and appropriate professionals to assist your employee in selling their property in the departure area, as well as for the new residence in the destination location. The final policy could be one for the entire company, or tiered for different levels of relocating employees.
Counseling Transferees
A dedicated relocation counselor will be assigned to each of your employees. The level of quality, one-on-one contact between our staff and transferring employees is what truly sets Beverly-Hanks & Associates Relocation apart from other relocation companies in the nation. Most members of the Relocation staff have relocated at least once themselves and can thus empathize with all aspects of the move. Between personal experience and the experience of moving hundreds of people over the years, there is seldom a situation your transferring employees may encounter that we have not already faced.
Relocation Packet Distribution
Beverly-Hanks Relocation provides customized relocation packets to each employee who is offered the opportunity to relocate. These packets contain information about the area to which the employee would be transferred. For example, if the employee is moving to the Greater Asheville Area, information is provided on the entire area. The Beverly-Hanks Welcome Magazine is sent to the employee which is a newcomer's guide available only at Beverly-Hanks. This magazine features information on the area, including golf courses, schools - public and private, colleges and universities, houses of worship and area employers for trailing spouses. It also includes tax information, how and where to get a driver's license, attractions in each county, special events and health care. Similar information is provided on any area to which an employee is transferring nationwide. A cost of living analysis is also available for each move outlining cost differentials between the city of origination and destination.
Relocation Programs
Beverly-Hanks & Associates also has the capability of providing a structured relocation program that includes either the Buyers Value Option or Amended Value Option for employee home sale buy-out programs. This process enables your company to utilize the benefits of our third party services while transferring executive anywhere in the United States.
