First and foremost, I LOVE people! I love meeting people. I love talking with people. I love learning from people. I love to hear about backgrounds, dreams, wants, needs and everything in between. I love to help people get what they want. I love to help people find help that they need. I love to raise money for organizations that help our community better our community. After a 17-year career in banking and lending, I came to Beverly-Hanks in 2013 with a strong business acumen and tireless work ethic. In my first 5 years I sold almost $24 million in real estate in Henderson and Buncombe counties.

I was born and raised in Asheville where I attended Asheville Country Day School/Carolina Day School and graduated from Asheville High School. I worked at the Biltmore Saddle & Bridle Club while in high school and college, where I kept my thoroughbred, Freddie. I grew up riding and teaching riding lessons at summer camps. I also grew up swimming, playing field hockey, tennis, golf, soccer, softball, basketball, and every other sport I could find people to play! I graduated from Lynchburg College in Virginia with a degree in Business Administration and a Marketing focus and played Varsity Field Hockey while in school. I was lucky enough to travel all over the east coast and midwest playing field hockey with my college team as well as with a club team. I even got to play field hockey in the Netherlands when I was young and we would travel there in the summers. I always knew that I would one day return home to the mountains that I have loved my whole life. I have now lived in Hendersonville since 2003. I know both Buncombe County and Henderson County intimately after spending almost my entire life here.

I have 2 amazing young adopted children and 2 dogs, a cat, a bird and a fish. I am a member of St. James Episcopal Church in Hendersonville. I am a member and sit on several committees at the Hendersonville Country Club and I volunteer at The Mountain Community School, the charter school in Hendersonville that 1 of my children attends. I am on an advisory board for the Crossnore School ands Children's Home working on bringing very badly needed services to Henderson County for our children and families. I really love giving back to our community in different ways. I believe we all have talents that can be used to benefit our community and people less fortunate than we are. If we all work together and share our time and talents we will build a stronger community for those who come after us.

I love to travel as a family and spend time together discovering new places and things to do. We have been as far as Alaska and Costa Rica with our children. I also love getting out in our mountains and taking the kids to explore waterfalls and a vast number of trails in Western North Carolina. I also enjoy playing tennis and golf, walking, hiking, horseback riding, reading, listening to live music, and spending time with family and friends.

I was in banking and lending for 17 years prior to joining Beverly-Hanks. That strong background in lending really helps my clients in their navigation and sometimes frustration of the loan process. Since joining Beverly-Hanks, I have worked closely with one of our top REALTORS® and have proved myself as a rising broker at Beverly-Hanks. I have helped clients buy and sell a variety of property types, from in- town properties to large historical estates and everything in between.

One of my favorite properties I sold had multiple structures, one being a historic house built in 1903, as well as a 5 acre lake and a smaller lake. Part of the land was also leased for agricultural purposes. I spent time at the Department of Natural Resources researching the dam to the lake on the property. I also spent time with many inspectors on the different houses on the property. My client didn't live in town, so I was his eyes and ears. In real estate, each deal is different, needing attention to different areas, and researching different things. I enjoy working through challenges and researching the needs of my clients.

I am a second generation real estate agent. My mother has been selling residential real estate with Beverly-Hanks for 30 years. She is an amazing mentor, resource, and sounding board. My father was also with Beverly-Hanks, he sold residential but really enjoyed selling commercial real estate for almost 15 years. I have learned so much over the last 30 years just listening to conversations at the dinner table and listening to phone calls between my parents and other agents.

Some of the things my past clients have said about me are that I am a great communicator, knowledgeable regarding the area and the market, professional, invaluable, available, patient, top notch, and diligent. I work hard every day to exceed their expectations. I would love to help you find your dream home in Western North Carolina!
