I grew up in the country in southern Alabama. My childhood was spent playing in the woods, barrel racing, riding horses, and tending to all the different animals at our home. After high school, I moved to Tallahassee for college and met my husband Rob, who I’ve been married to for over 10 years. Hendersonville was always a place we came to vacation. The mountains, the cool streams in the summer, the hiking trails and views—it was heaven on earth to us. After having two beautiful girls, Hannah and Grace, we decided to pack up our lives and move to a town we knew would make us happy.

We spend our weekends with friends we’ve made, going to our daughters’ soccer games, music lessons, or dinner on Main Street. In the summer, we head to the Pisgah or Dupont forests to swim and enjoy the woods. In the fall, we travel the Blue Ridge Parkway and hike at random trails or have lunch at the Pisgah Inn. We have two labs, Daisy and Ollie, that we enjoy taking hiking or to the dog park.
