We are home.®
Growing up in a military environment, moving was the norm. I attended four different schools by the time I was in third grade. Even at that young age, this fueled my desire for travel, so when I was old enough I made travel a big part of my life. During college, I spent a summer backpacking Europe. One of my most memorable experiences was spending several weeks in Australia and New Zealand. I have visited quite a few states and spent a good deal of time in Florida and Colorado.
After the births of my beloved children, I wanted to gravitate closer to home. My parents live in Shelby, NC. which I consider my home town. I visited Asheville one weekend and it was love at first sight! Within a month I had moved here with two small children in tow.
I have always enjoyed all the outdoor activities that the Asheville area has to offer. I have gone zip-lining over the mountain tops, whitewater rafting through the rivers, tubing, camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and even taken a train ride or two. I am blessed to have a husband who enjoys these things as well.
I love everything about my life in Asheville: I love my church, Biltmore Baptist; my home; my family; and my two little Shih Tzus, Sophie and Molly. I'm now a grandparent (Gigi) and have found it to be one of the most rewarding experiences that life can offer. In my free time, Rowan, Jayda and Adeline take center stage. I never forget to count the blessings life has given me.
Real estate has always had my heart. Few careers can bring the joy of placing someone in their dream home. Even before I saw myself becoming an agent, I always gravitated to the real estate industry. For years, I worked in an appraisal office and later for a mortgage firm.
When the door opened to a place where I could devote myself full time to brokering real estate, I walked through. At the age of 50, I finished a degree in business administration and graduated with high honors. I wake up every morning excited to go to work for my clients. What an exciting market we have in Western North Carolina! My clients tell me that my love for our region paired with my knowledge of both buying and selling real estate is a real asset to them.
Whether you are a homebuyer or seller, you can rest assured that I will go above and beyond for you. My enthusiasm is clear in each transaction, but it’s built on a foundation of helpfulness. I have found that the best way to help people is by listening to their needs. As your Asheville REALTOR?, listening will always come first.
Homes we love.
