If I don’t have children, why should I care about a community’s schools?

Even if you don't have school-age children, schools matter to almost everyone. A 2013 realtor.com® survey of nearly 1,000 prospective homebuyers showed that 91% said school boundaries were important in their search. The same study found that half of homebuyers are willing to pay more than their budget, and more than half would give up a bedroom or garage to get into the right school. Homes in better districts tend to enjoy more price stability and sell more quickly than homes in less desirable school districts. At beverly-hanks.com, each home listed for sale is linked to each school's report card as reported by the independent website education.com.

Brent was exceptional. He followed up with every step of the process to insure the process from start to finish was as seamless as possible. I/we could not ask for a better agent. There is not one negative or even average comment I can make regarding Brent's abilities and the service provided. He was exceptional in every way. ------------------------------------------------------- Brent's knowledge of the area and the market is exceptional. However, what set him apart from other agents was his meticulous attention to every detail during our journey. If we did not have time to visit a home for sale he would (same day) view homes on our behalf. He would review the comps and floor plans ahead of time for every home we were interested in viewing. Even when we were under contract to purchase he followed up frequently with the seller's agent and our bank to insure that every issue was being addressed as expeditiously as possible. Three days prior to our anticipated closing our bank informed us that we would not close on time and Brent managed to obtain the necessary paperwork from the seller to insure that we closed on time. If we ever sell or buy a home I have no doubt that we would enlist Brent's help and I plan to share this experience with all my friends and colleagues who are in a position to buy or sell a home.

I have known Brent Gamble and his wife since relocating to Asheville a few years ago. Brent's personality, integrity, and fantastic professional sense made it an easy decision to contact him to help us with our home search. I cannot think of any improvements Brent could possibly have made. Even after the sale was finalized I still had some questions and he was quick to respond and always very helpful. Brent is very hands-on and his communication level is top notch. I could contact him at any time and know he would be very responsive. If he was uncertain about any aspect of our questions, he immediately verified the answers with his lead broker at the office. I'm not certain of other broker staff assistance, the lead broker did offer some advice when we faced difficulties with the seller's agent and the lack of professionalism from his office. I always felt that the North Asheville Office is a cohesive team and always there to assist each other. Our only complaint involved the Mortgage Service Loan Officer. There was lack of communication about needing a wire of funds or Certified Check at closing. We found out 20 minutes prior to our appointment. This could have been a disaster but fortunately USAA came through with flying colors.
