He was also very patient with us as we tried to figure out what area we wanted to live in. We had met Bill Fitzpatrick many years ago; and we also engaged him to sell our neighbor's house when she passed away in 2016. Although our house of 29 years had dated wallpaper and old linoleum, Bill made excellent and inexpensive suggestions to highlight the best features of our home. We were delighted how small changes made a big difference. We very much appreciated that Bill kept us informed, almost on a daily basis, as we progressed toward the closing date. We cannot say enough good things about Beverly-Hanks Realty, and in particular, Bill Fitzpatrick. Bill is honest, ethical, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about the real estate market. To cite one example, the day before we closed Bill notified us that the County recorder's office had experienced a computer hiccup and was experiencing a backlog. We went through the possible scenarios and had a "worst-case plan worked out in the event that the closing was delayed to the point where our mover's schedule would be impacted. I cold called Beverly Hanks for a broker and Bill called me back. We had a great conversation about our price range, available properties and like matters. He impressed me with his knowledge of the area and his experience. We have purchased and sold around 10 different houses over the course of our marriage and worked with brokers on each one. Our homes have been on the East Coast (NYC , Connecticut), Ohio, Denver, Maui and the South. We have never had a broker as good as Bill, and we have had some very good brokers. Here are some adjectives and phrases we would use to describe Bill: knowledgable, experienced, sincere, indefatigable, attentive to detail, honest, patient, an excellent listener, not "pushy"and anticipatory. By the end of four days of looking at a diverse group of properties he was able to understand exactly what we would like and showed us the house we ended up purchasing on the fourth day. During negotiations with the Seller he made excellent suggestions and was like a third member of our team, all the while being very professional. After we signed the contract he found a great house inspector for us and multiple experts to evaluate the septic, HVAC systems, fireplaces, termite situation, window issues, etc. and a surveyor who did a timely survey for us. He also found us a very good contractor who gave us an estimate for needed repairs and who is doing a good job in making such repairs. Bill understood that we also wanted to remodel,parts of the house and was careful to select a contractor who would be able to do that too. I am a retired attorney and Bill steered us to an excellent one to handle the legal matters involved with the title search and closing. We wanted a local decorator with whom to work and he suggested two, one of which we have retained and are very pleased with. On a scale of 1 to 10, we give Bill a 20. Please refer to the previous comment section. Just an outstanding broker and person. We did not have a lot of interaction with other staff members but the support personnel were polite and client friendly. We cannot think of any way in which we could have had a better experience due to the fortunate assignment of Bill Fitzpatrick to be our broker.
