About MePronouns: He / Him / His
I’m so grateful to call this temperate rain forest home. It’s uniquely scenic, has incredible eco-diversity, and offers so many ways to get out and explore.
When not working in real estate, I enjoy the local color and flavors of Asheville. You will find me on the river, enjoying live music, selling at local art markets, and hitting the trails. I am a proud parent of two senior fur babies. We have a Pomeranian named Masha and Duke is a 14-year-old yellow lab that my partner and I rescued. You guess which one rules the house.
My love and passion for conservation, homesteading, and eco-friendly living has led me to purchase 45 acres in Madison County, where I'm working to create an off-grid, family farm and homestead.
My training as an electrician working for a local builder gave me a good understanding of construction and the trades. Combined with what I learned through developing raw land into a family farm and homestead, I have the needed insight on how to ensure real estate transactions close without issues.
Raised on the central coast of California, I’m no stranger to competitive real estate markets. I’ve got the skills and tools needed to successfully navigate the current multiple offer environment and get results. I believe that the right properties come to the right people at the right time. The artform is connecting the two. That's where I come in. I am committed to helping you find the right home. One important part of this is navigating the process of buying a home. To do this effectively, buyers need to know what is coming next. Regardless of whether this is your first home or you are a seasoned home buyer, I'm here to ensure that there are NO surprises. If you are selling your home, know that I will help you get top-dollar by advising you of anything that needs to be addressed prior to listing. Rest assured that I can help you price your home properly and market it fully and effectively. I am your partner in this process and will stay one step ahead until your goals are met.
My passion for real estate was sparked in an unconventional way. I began to notice and appreciate various architectural designs and neighborhoods while wiring homes as an electrician in training. This work gave me a greater knowledge of construction and construction pitfalls.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing my clients end up in the place they can truly feel at home. I’d love to help you find yours. Follow me on Instagram for insights on neighborhoods, eateries, breweries, and favorite local nature spots. I’m happy to meet on the river, trails, office, or anywhere in between to connect on your upcoming real estate needs.

How is the tax bill of a home determined in North Carolina?
Real property is appraised at 100% of market value and includes land, buildings, structures, and improvements. State law requires counties to reappraise every eight years, but many counties reappraise every four. A bill can be a combination of tax rates. For example, a home inside the City of Asheville and Asheville City School districts will have three separate tax rates represented on a bill: the Buncombe County rate, the City of Asheville rate, and the Asheville City School rate. All rates are totaled to calculate the total tax liability. Tax rate estimates for our mountain communities can be found on page 127 of the Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Welcome magazine.
