A Native of Western North Carolina, and I grew up on a small farm in Mills River. After graduating from high school, I went on to college to receive a degree in horticulture with an emphasis on landscape design. I worked for the NC Crops and Research Center for several years. When I started a family, my life changed direction. While raising my children, I worked in the Buncombe County school system for several years, and then managed a floral business. I later went on to purchase a florist shop in Asheville and ran a very successful business for 12 years. I still enjoy growing a garden and have designed many landscape plans for myself and others. When I'm not working in the garden, I also love to hike & bike throughout this beautiful region.

Knowing the area well, and loving the mountains, I knew that my local business background combined with my strong work ethic would be a perfect fit as I launched my real estate career here. Even though at that time the real estate market was experiencing a decline, I became a top producer my first full year, and have received top producer and numerous client approval awards every year that I have been in the industry. I count it an honor to play such a significant role in peoples' lives when it comes to purchasing or selling a home. I always work to maintain my philosophy "to always keep the client's best interest first in mind". I am grateful for every opportunity and love what I do.
