My parents still own the home that they bought in 1959 through Beverly Realty, a precursor to Beverly-Hanks, REALTORS?. Our REALTOR? and his family became our lifelong friends. That is the type of agent I strive to be for each of my clients.

I earned a degree from Emory University in art history. I have a love of homes from all periods as architectural works of art. I believe that restoring a 90-year-old home so that it can be used efficiently for another 90 years is the greenest thing I can do. I was also fortunate to assist in restoring the Cathedral of Chartres in France through the American Friends of Chartres. It was a truly life-changing experience!

I enjoy giving back to the community where I grew up by supporting Meals on Wheels. When I’m not helping clients with their real estate goals, I’m busy restoring my newest property or joining my friends at my local meditation group.

I entered the real estate world in 2009 after 25 years as a successful stockbroker in Asheville with Merrill Lynch and Smith Barney. My interest in real estate began in the late 1990s through restoring beautiful old homes in Asheville. I found that had a talent for seeing potential in a house that others missed. Since then, I’ve restored seven homes and counting.

I studied real estate staging and Feng Shui in order to advise my clients on how to best show their homes. I understand the shifting priorities of the market, and can help direct your investment decisions to what will generate the best return.

I have worked with a diverse group of clientele who value Asheville as a location to both engage and retreat. I’m familiar with the rental market, as well.
