How has remote work and mobility impacted our real estate markets in WNC?

According to the Counselors of Real Estate, the pandemic universally caused a movement away from urban cores. This trend is particularly true for those with higher incomes who could afford to move. This newfound geographic flexibility is one reason why Western North Carolina’s luxury housing market is up 267%. Most people moving from urban areas remained within their original region (84%). The overwhelming majority of home buyers continue to be local to North Carolina or the states immediately adjacent. With the added mobility remote work offers, people are moving to areas with a proven high quality of life or to more affordable regions where they can buy more home for their money.

I met Don at the local YMCA when he corrected my technique with some equipment. In less than 1 month all was said and done. My house was sold at asking price in a poor market. I can't recommend Don too strongly.
