I spoke with a current Waynesville resident that I had met and gotten to know through the tourism industry in South Carolina many years ago. She and her husband had retired and moved to Waynesville. I asked her if she could recommend someone and she referred me to Ellen. My husband and I were so very happy that we selected Ellen Sither as our agent. I felt an immediate rapport with her from our very first meeting. She was positve and encourating, while at the same time stressing the reality of selling a house in our area. You could see that she liked our house and was interested in representing us. She was clear about the comparables that she had found and described the marketing plan that she was going to use. She made some valuable up front suggestions (like the benefit of having a pre-inspection done) without trying to pressure us to do so. She provided us with month by month feedback as to the amount of traffic, both in person, and online, that our property was receiving. I think, however, that a huge part of our positive experience with Ellen came during the contract negotiations, and then during the due-diligence period. She walked us through that process very thoroughly, explaining all of the steps that would take place.
