About Me
Born in Southern California, I was raised in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My upbringing had a profound impact on me and I quickly learned the importance of honesty, integrity, and a consistent work ethic. That is the foundation that I have built upon throughout life.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in business management from Penn-State Behrend, where I also competed on the baseball team. My career started as a petroleum landman. This was followed by several years at a global logistics company based in California, which took me from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe. An avid outdoorsman, I spent much of my time fishing, hiking, and skiing through the Sierra Nevada. There, I met my lovely wife, Lili.
Drawn to the Blue Ridge Mountains, we moved to Asheville in 2018 and haven’t looked back. Before entering real estate full time, I managed the convention shipping program at the Omni Grove Park Inn, and I enjoy volunteering at a local organic farm in my free time. We continue to be impressed with all that this community has to offer—there is no shortage of great food, music, art, and nature, all at your fingertips. In 2021, this city became even more special to us when we welcomed our daughter and we couldn't be more excited to be raising our family here. We would be honored to help you find your slice of heaven in Asheville!
Experience
It is my passion for serving others that truly sets me apart. I will work tirelessly to help you reach your real estate goals! My experience has taught me everything it takes to provide exceptional customer service to my clients, with effective communication, responsiveness, and care being paramount.
Approachable, knowledgeable, and well-versed in negotiations, I will lead you through the process and become a resource that you can use in the community long after the ink has dried on your transaction.
I understand that buying or selling a home can be a daunting task. It is my job to make the experience as seamless for you as possible so you can enjoy the lifestyle that Asheville has to offer.

Ask An Expert
How is the tax bill of a home determined in North Carolina?
Real property is appraised at 100% of market value and includes land, buildings, structures, and improvements. State law requires counties to reappraise every eight years, but many counties reappraise every four. A bill can be a combination of tax rates. For example, a home inside the City of Asheville and Asheville City School districts will have three separate tax rates represented on a bill: the Buncombe County rate, the City of Asheville rate, and the Asheville City School rate. All rates are totaled to calculate the total tax liability. Tax rate estimates for our mountain communities can be found on page 127 of the Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks Welcome magazine.
