I was born and raised in Florida, but I really grew up at camp herein Bat Cave, North Carolina. I was a teacher in the Peace Corps before contracting for the Department of Defense in Washington, DC during my twenties. One day, a lovely woman from Brevard, NC came into Biddy Mulligan’s Pub and I had to meet her. A year later she agreed to marry me and Western North Carolina has been our home ever since.

We live on a small farm established in the 1890’s with our five-year-old boy, three-year-old girl, scruffy dog, and a bunch of chickens. In addition to real estate, I enjoy my family, homesteading, woodworking,poker, the outdoors, and travel.
