I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wake Forest University.
I am a proud fourth generation native of Asheville, North Carolina. I graduated from the Asheville School, and graduating from Wake Forest University and then working in Greensboro NC and Charlotte NC, I returned home to Asheville in 1991.
I believe in giving my time back to the community, and have been very active with organizations including YMCA of Western North Carolina, Rotary International, Four Seasons Hospice, Black Mountain Home for Children, Asheville Downtown Association, Meals on Wheels, and First Presbyterian Church.
I have active children and love being a father. Family and friends are very important to me. In my free time, I enjoy most anything outdoors, including running, hiking, snow skiing, camping, gardening, and fly fishing. I also love the many excellent restaurants, as well as the wide variety of live music venues, located in the area.
Throughout my career, I have worked closely with many different businesses to provide solutions that meet their needs. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to understand and help you with your commercial real estate needs.
After four years in branch management with First Union National Bank and two years in group health insurance sales with CIGNA, I served 26 years as President and Partner of Webb Insurance/Assured Partners, an independent insurance brokerage firm located in Asheville. As a former business owner, I've experienced the challenges of running a successful business, managing operational and sales teams and leading employees to personal and organizational success.
I understand that a solid business is built upon a solid foundation. Let me help you build your business upon a beneficial commercial real estate transaction..

Is there a best time of the year to buy a house?
When it comes to buying a home, there are pros and cons for each season. Generally, the best season to buy a home is in late summer or fall. There are still plenty of homes for sale, but without the intense competition found during spring. Sellers are also known for being a bit more flexible this time of the year. Zillow reports that the highest number of listings with at least one price reduction are found August–September. However, the deeper buyers venture into fall, the less choice is available. If you value choice, and you want more buyers competing for the home you are leaving, spring could be your best season. Ultimately, the best time to buy a home is when you’re financially ready to do so.
