Which inspections should I do?

Since home inspections are not required in many situations, buyers often wonder if it’s a place to trim expenses; they are not. While the cost of inspections can add up, they rarely rise to the level of a major repair. Common inspections include pest/termite, water, septic, chimney, radon, and then the general home inspection. When hiring a home inspector, insist on one certified by the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). ASHI has a list of what’s covered in each phase of a general home inspection. If circumstances and personal needs call for other types of inspections, don’t hesitate. Hire the appropriate inspector to put your mind at ease and prevent unknowingly buying a home that doesn’t meet your needs.

We were referred to Laura by a friend of the family. We met with her while on a visit to Asheville to explore the area as we considered moving there. Laura selected several houses to look at, and listened to our needs. Once we were back in our home town, Laura continued looking for properties that might meet our needs and sending them to us to consider. She used our feedback to refine her search and her recommendations. We were not expecting to purchase a property remotely. We expected to find a place to rent in Asheville, and rent for some period of time while we explored the area more and waited for the right house to come on the market. However, Laura found a house that we liked in the area we were interested in. She moved very quickly, and arranged a virtual (FaceTime) walkthrough with a local agent who was assisting her, a few hours before the first open house. We decided to jump on it, and with Laura's assistance had sent an offer before the open house started. Laura's fast action made the difference. The sellers accepted our offer since it was the first one they received. Laura was always very responsive and helpful, both while searching for houses and during the closing process.

Every detail every conversation every email she was there not only getting things done quicker than a timely fashion. always giving me friendly reminders of all the things that needed to be taken care of . this was a very bold move that I made yet I was so confident in Laura‘s ability to keep everything aligned and truly she authentically cared down to where she chose the area since I was going to start a business venture she found the greatest location the greatest house it served every need that I need it down to the fact that my house faced east and I have running water(The most amazing creek) which had nothing to do with the logistics of my business however it had something to do with my personal desires and to boot the location is beyond perfect including all the zoning‘s. Hands-down she is genuine she is knowledgeable she has an amazing team that is always there for her if need be.. 10 stars to the moon and back I am filled with gratitude that Laura found my dream home land.
