My husband and I moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina in 1998 from the northwest suburbs of Chicago. I was in banking for 20 years, the last several as Vice President of Operations. One of my responsibilities at that time was establishing customer service training programs, a topic that relates to this profession as well.

I enjoy working with people and matching them with the perfect home/lifestyle and have learned that it requires a much better listener than talker. I have a very Midwestern personality with which I think most people find easy to work. Most years I have been fortunate enough to be a multimillion dollar producer and most of my clients are friends (repeat clients) or referrals. A referral is trust that someone is placing in me so it is important to treat others' family or friends as I would my own.

Real Estate has been my passion since 2004, when I first became a Realtor specializing in luxury, second home, retirement and golf course community properties. The importance of the accreditations is that they help me to provide clients with a higher level of service whether buying, selling or building. We recently completed construction of our own new home, which took a year to design and 2 years to build. This real life experience has given me a wealth of knowledge, not to mention numerous lessons learned, that I can share.
