We are home.®

Western North Carolina has been my home for most of my life. I was born in Sylva and raised in Northern Jackson County near the Cherokee Indian Reservation and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I graduated from Western Carolina University with a B.S. in Education and Master in Ed. Following that, I was employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs in Cherokee, NC, to teach Cherokee children.

I’ve traveled around the country both as a small business owner and for personal pleasure. But the beautiful mountains of this area have always held a special place in my heart. It is a joy to share this unique region with others who are visiting and moving to Western North Carolina.

I enjoy putting my passion, business experience, and lifelong love of our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains to work to help you meet your real estate goals.

Before becoming a full-time professional real estate agent, I served the community as a teacher, small business owner, and home design consultant. For 21 years, I ran my own retail needlework and gift shop in Dillsboro, NC, a unique little mountain arts and crafts village. During that time, I also partnered with a local artist to create a needlework design company. After selling my business, I worked with a large furniture and design company, assisting clients in their home design.

These careers not only helped me tap into my passion for design and helping people, they helped me hone those same skills for my real estate clients. I am an invaluable resource for helping you navigate our mountain communities to find the home that best fits your needs. I have built and remodeled my own home here in the mountains, so I can be of assistance in finding builders/home service and supply sources for your property.

Organization and dedication are the best qualities I bring to each of my clients ready to buy or sell a home. I will strive to give you the best possible service with honesty, good communication, availability, and lots of energy.
