About Me

My name is Meredith Hopkins Fisher, and I have called these beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina home my entire life. I recently married and relocated from Haywood County to Henderson County. After completing real estate school, I knew I wanted to affiliate with the highly successful company, Beverly-Hanks.

My background in physical therapy has inspired me to live a very healthy, active lifestyle. You can often find me in one of the local gyms for an early morning workout. My husband and I enjoy hiking with our sweet dog and kayaking our beautiful rivers. Most of my family lives locally, so we love to spend time eating and laughing together.

Western North Carolina is a part of my heart. From the charm of a small town to the excitement of our more urban areas, I would love to help you find your own piece of this mountain paradise.

Experience

Let me put my goal-driven personality to work for you!

I was formerly a regional store manager for a local business, where I loved tackling the challenges of a small, thriving business. The owners entrusted me with managing large transactions with other businesses across the country. My business and personal customers received quick responses via email or a phone call. Customer trust and satisfaction are key to business and personal success. Whether you are buying or selling a home, I will be dedicated to the search for and the handling of your perfect property.

Is there a best time of the year to buy a house?

When it comes to buying a home, there are pros and cons for each season. Generally, the best season to buy a home is in late summer or fall. There are still plenty of homes for sale, but without the intense competition found during spring. Sellers are also known for being a bit more flexible this time of the year. Zillow reports that the highest number of listings with at least one price reduction are found August–September. However, the deeper buyers venture into fall, the less choice is available. If you value choice, and you want more buyers competing for the home you are leaving, spring could be your best season. Ultimately, the best time to buy a home is when you’re financially ready to do so.
