North Carolina always has been, and will be, home. I was born and raised in eastern North Carolina, furthered my education and career in the Raleigh-Durham area, and settled down to make a life here in Hendersonville. For over a decade, I was a middle grades English teacher in both public and private schools; these years taught me flexibility, communication, and a love of working with others. Moving to the Asheville area, I switched gears and managed a local running store, bringing together my passion for distance running and working with others. All of these experiences led me to the realization that I love Western North Carolina, and want to help others make it a home they love, too.

My husband Brad is a graduate of Western North Carolina University, and works as a nurse locally. We have a one-year-old son, two dogs, and two cats. When not working, we love getting out for walks and hikes, reading (we're currently reading the Harry Potter series as a family), trying out new restaurants here in Hendersonville, and working on projects around our home.

Real estate is business, and it can be an intensely personal business. I can identify with my buyers and sellers because I have been in their shoes. It's so important to understand the emotional connection that people have with their homes and to help make that love apparent when that property changes hands. My priority is to listen well to what makes "home" to you.
