We are home.®
As a native of Western North Carolina, I take pride in my hometown and the wonderful qualities that it offers. I spent my formative years in the Hendersonville area before my family moved to Saluda while I was in high school. I attended East Henderson High School, where I was named “Most Talkative” of my senior class. I received a bachelor’s degree from Western Carolina University, concentrating in entrepreneurship. I have been lucky to have been a part of Henderson County most of my life and I am glad not only that I got to grow up in this great town, but that our daughters will get the opportunity to do the same!
My husband Sean, works as a general contractor at Don Mintz Builders in Saluda, where they build craftsman-style homes. Along with our two little girls, Callie and Avery, we are very involved in both the Saluda and Hendersonville communities. For the past five years, we have organized the Ella Grace Race to end PKD (Polycystic Kidney Disease) in memory of our first baby, Ella Grace, who passed away after 18 hours with a rare kidney disease, Infantile Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease. We are also supporters of the PKD Foundation and have raised more than $50,000 in our daughter’s memory. I am a huge advocate of the Alzheimer’s Association, as well.
When I am not working, you can find me at the lake on my paddleboard or behind my Canon camera. I love playing around with photography. Living in beautiful WNC and being a mother, there is always something that catches my eye. We are involved in our church and love to travel. If I could live any other place rather than WNC, I would love to live in the Caribbean. There is just something so peaceful about the warm sun and the crystal clear blue water.
Nothing makes my heart happier than helping people find that perfect home and make your dream a reality!
We all know that Western North Carolina is one of the most favorable places for people to come and retire. Before entering real estate full time, I served more than 15 years in health care as a sales director for a local assisted living community with a memory care unit. During that time, I helped local and out-of-state residents find communities that met their needs, many of whom had specific needs related to dementia and Alzheimer’s. My excellent customer service skills allowed me to work with the aging population and their families in relocating and downsizing. I now use that knowledge to help home buyers find the best neighborhood for them, or help sellers market their home to the best buyers.
As a homegrown Realtor?, I realize that purchasing real estate is one of the biggest transactions that most people will ever go through in their lives. One thing that I have learned in life is that it’s not what you know, it’s who you know! I would love to know you and help make your dream a reality!
