We are home.®
If you love spending time in the mountains; being outdoors; relishing the talents of local artists, musicians, and theatres; participating in wildlife conservation; horseback riding; are interested in cultures and/or enjoy being involved in community—just good ol’ mountain living—then we have something in common!
I am an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation (aniyvwiya) and was raised on a small mountain farm just outside of Waynesville, where we continue to grow fresh local produce. I am fortunate to have been raised, and live, in such an awe-inspiring, bountiful landscape, teaming with endless character, personality, and deeply rooted cultures. The influence of my Cherokee and Southern Appalachian cultures, and their way of living, has instilled within me a broad knowledge of the area and profound fascination of this region.
After graduating Tuscola High School, I earned a degree from NC State University in horticulture and ag business management—Go Wolfpack! And later, a graduate degree from Purdue University in forest ecology—Boiler Up! However, I can now attest, there is something about the mountains that call you home! Western North Carolina does so with such grace and fortitude. For this reason, everyone who lives or visits here falls in love with the area.
Western North Carolina is home!
Siyo! I am excited to share some of my local secrets with you and help find your perfect place in the mountains. It’s all right here!
I have always held a strong interest in real estate. While in Raleigh after graduate school, I combined two of my interests while working with a commercial real estate company. There, we designed and implemented urban farms in a large planned-use development surrounded by a residential community and commercial properties. That experience exposed me to large-scale commercial and residential development, while helping me hone my passion for small, community farms.
As a full-time professional real estate agent in Waynesville, I serve Western North Carolina and you on the journey of finding your own paradise—nestled deep in a mountain cove, with a grand view overlooking farmland below, or possibly even a spread of land to start your own mountain farm or equestrian facility. Whether you’re buying your first home or want assurance that your farmstead will remain green for generations to come, I can serve as your real estate guide.
Homes we love.
