We live in eastern Virginia and met Nancy Witek through Brevard College athletics. We tossed around an idea to purchase a vacation home in Brevard. If it wasn’t for Nancy, I doubt we would have considered purchasing a home in Brevard. With her on our team, I knew we could do something great. We spoke with Nancy Witek about our desires and budget about 2 years ago. We were specific on our location and had some flexibility in other things. We preferred an older traditional home and we wanted a large porch. In the spring of 2020 we put this search on hold. But then in march 2021, one came up. Nancy was very quick to visit this home and provide us great videos and additional pictures. Nancy did the work without us being there. Her enthusiasm for the home over the phone was very contagious. After the phone call we could tell this was a serious contender. It took me about 20 hours to make this home a priority and to get serious about it. For those 20 hours I continued to process Nancys enthusiasm for the property. So I moved everything on my packed schedule and I drove down a day or so later. During this time someone else put a contract on the home. Once I saw this home in person, I was blown away. It checked all of the boxes, And then some. It has serious curb appeal, it’s in a great location, it was priced right , it has a large fenced yard for our puppy and much more. But someone beat us to the punch. We were slightly deflated but still hopeful. Nancy suggested we put in a backup contract and we did. She said something like “hang tight because things may change”. I certainly lost sleep for those 2 weeks waiting to see what the other buyer would do. This is an extremely rare 110 year old completely restored home that was perfect for us. I knew my bride needed to see this home whether we bought it or not so we all made plans to travel there to see it. When my wife saw the home for the first time she was speechless. It was a moment I will never forget. Nancy eventually called us on the phone and shared the good news that we moved into first position. My wife, our kids, and our puppy were jumping for joy. Yes we were all cheering like we just won a national championship football game. It was quite a celebration that night for all 6 of us. It really was and still is something special for us to see this dream come together. It’s a wonderful property. We certainly have to thank Nancy Witek and your team for doing a zillion things right and helping us make this dream come true. Thank you, James Dodd June 1, 2021

My husband and I have purchased properties in many areas of the United States, and Nancy Witek is quite simply the best real estate agent we have ever dealt with. She was incredibly responsive at all hours and on all days. Nancy’s knowledge of local inspectors and contractors was invaluable. She was able to very quickly get contractors to examine issues of concern with the house and give us estimates for repairs or anything we wanted done, and to get work done. She even anticipated our questions and needs and got answers from consultants before we thought of the questions. She gave us contacts for everything from obtaining internet service to contracting for trash pickup, and continues to give us advice on any question we have, even after closing. Nancy was completely patient and accessible. Because of COVID, we were unable to come here to see the house until just before closing, so she did long showings of the house to two different sets of our friends and family, and even arranged for one family member to meet the architect at the house to discuss the construction. Amazing service. Nancy seemed to truly care that we find a home where we would be happy and even joyful, and she helped us accomplish that. I would strongly recommend Nancy to friends or family.

He was the most prepared agent I talked to while viewing houses and gave me so much information about the home buying process (as a seller's agent) that I felt comfortable asking him to represent me as a buyer. Wes was willing to work outside of normal business hours and did a great job of walking me through the whole process. He was very friendly and easy to talk to, and answered all of my questions. The sale went very smoothly, and he was able to help me negotiate a large credit from the sellers.
