My Background
I was born and raised here in WNC and attended AC Reynolds High School. Growing up in Asheville, I was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Boy Scouts of America. I later went on to earn a BS in business with concentrations in marketing and management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. After college, I moved to Charlotte to start searching for jobs and ended up with a real estate license and a strong desire to move back to the place I loved, Asheville.
I am a native of the Asheville area and moved back for the same reason most of you stay here or relocate here, because of the exceptional beauty and relaxed way of life it offers all of us. When I'm not working, my wife Veronica and I enjoy spending time with our son, hiking, fishing, camping and kayaking or exploring all of the world-class dining and entertainment options offered in and around Downtown Asheville. I've been bringing buyers and sellers together in the Asheville area for over 15 years and I love that each day brings a new set of challenges and opportunities. Since 2009, I've been focusing my time, effort and marketing dollars on helping buyers and sellers in the downtown Asheville condominium market. My downtown sales partner Scott Mills and I have sold more downtown Asheville condominiums than anyone else since 2011 and I've been a Top 100 member of the LOTSAR Realtor Board since 2012. There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Asheville real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
